Last year, with stock markets around the world becoming increasingly unstable, I decided it was time to invest more money in the Asian Emerging Markets stock I have invested in for several years. As a small-time investor, but one who lives in an emerging market, Thailand, I know as well as anyone why investing in Asian emerging market stocks could be a good strategy. If you're considering investing in an Asian emerging market stock, here are several reasons why it could be a good idea for you too.

Asia is Booming - I've lived in Asia for almost seven years and can tell you, from first-hand experience, Asia is set to take over the world. I live in Thailand but travel often to Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. All of these countries, plus Vietnam, China, Japan and other Asian countries are going to be booming in the next few years. With Asia accounting for more than 60% of the world's population, and most of those people in China, it only stands to reason countries like the US, the UK and Germany, eventually won't be able to keep up.

Technology in Asia Is Far Ahead of the US - Asians are spending billions of dollars a year on technology and they're inventing much of it too. In Thailand, things like computers and mobile phones are months if not years ahead of the US. When I'm in the US and look at mobile phone shops, it's amazing to me how limited the options are when it comes to buying a phone. In Asia, we get top-of-the-line, innovative electronics as soon as they hit the market, and this is often months before they arrive in America.

Diversification - If you invest in US stocks, you are betting on the economy of just one country. By investing in Asian emerging markets stocks, you have your investment spread out over several companies. Diversification, just by its nature, makes this type of investing much less risky than simply buying stocks in America, especially as the US economy is still extremely shaky.

Asia Will Rise and America Will Fall - Every economist knows this is true. While Americans still believe the US will keep its world-dominance intact, unfortunately, it's simply not reality. As Asia's influence and power increases, so will its economic strength and, therefore, so will Asian emerging market stocks. Simple really. Money will start to move out of America and into Asia, because that's where the best investment opportunities will be and that will also affect America's influence and economic strength.

Good Stock Values - Buying many American stocks now is simply too expensive. Stocks are still overvalued in many cases, and many investors simply can't afford to buy in. Asia, on the other hand, has tons of emerging stock opportunities, with some extremely attractive investment opportunities for hardly any money. Think of Microsoft 20 years ago. They started somewhere and so are the millions of Asian companies that are now on stock markets all over Asia.

US Dollar Not Being Dominant Currency - Many world currencies are tied to the US dollar, so their values go up and down depending on what the US dollar is doing. That's likely to change and could change as fast as this year. When the dollar is no longer the world's dominant currency, another country will step in and, according to many economists, it's very likely to be the Chinese yuan. Plus, China is cash-rich, while the US is in debt. So China will keep buying physical assets in a move to use them as a type of currency - working against the US dollar.

These, and many other reasons, are why more and more investment specialists are now saying Asia is where the best investment opportunities are. Just be careful, if you decide to invest in Asian emerging stock, that you thoroughly vet the investment firm you go through and also the stocks or mutual fund you decide upon.

Ramp Trail by a2zumac

Constructing a basic wood wheel chair ramp provides a much needed way to access porches and doorways for those who use wheel chairs. A very basic wood wheel chair ramp can be made from just a few basic materials bought at any home supply store. With the proper knowledge you can construct a wheel chair ramp that will provide just about anyone who uses a wheel chair access to a porch or through a doorway.

To be a success at tackling this project there are a few things you'll need. The first of the things you will need is a jigsaw, a pencil, a protractor, and a ruler. Next you will need a 4 foot by 8 foot ¾ inch thick piece of plywood, 2 - 8 foot long 2-by-4's, 2 - 4 foot long 2-by-4's, 2 - 1 foot long 2-by-4's. The next few things you'll need are a hammer, some 3 inch nails, some latex paint, and some sand. The last two things you will need for the project are a paint stick, and a paint brush. Once you have these materials in hand you can begin building the wheelchair ramp.

To build the wheelchair ramp it takes six simple steps. The first of which is for you to use the protractor, ruler and pencil to measure and mark a 45 degree angle on the sides at one end of each of the two 8 foot long 2-by-4's. Then you take the jigsaw and cut along the line you just created. This makes the ground end of the incline supports.

For your second step you need to use the two 4 foot long 2-by-4's and the two 1 foot long 2-by-4's to construct a box. The box will measure 1 foot high by 4 feet long. You will need to use the hammer and 3 inch nails to attach these boards on their ends to one another to create the box.

The third step of the project is to use the hammer and 3 inch nails to attach the uncut ends of the two 8 foot long 2-by-4's to sides of the 1 foot high box. This sets the incline supports into place on the box. The basic structure of the ramp is now made.

For the fourth step you will need to attach the 4 foot by 8 foot ¾ inch thick plywood sheet to the incline supports. Do this by first laying it onto the incline supports and then using the hammer to drive 3 inch nails along the edge of the plywood piece and into the incline supports and the top support of the 1 foot high box. The basic structure of the ramp is complete at this point.

Step 5 is to pour the sand into the latex paint and then mix it up with the paint stick. This creates a non skid mixture that when painted onto the ramp will help prevent slipping in inclement weather.

The final step is for you to use the paint brush to paint the ramp surface of the plywood. This will provide, when dried, the non skid surface that prevents slipping in rain, ice or snow. Allow about 2 days for the paint to fully dry before you use the ramp. At this point the ramp has been completely finished and will provide use for those needing access to porches and doorways.

As a final tip, it may be helpful if you are having to use this ramp with an extremely heavy person to add a couple of cross braces on the ramp between the incline supports. Also it might be recommended with an extra heavy person to use 4-by-4 lumber and 6 inch nails with this design as opposed to the 2-by-4's the design presented above calls for. Either way the steps will be the same in the construction of the ramp. By following the plan outlined above, you should find it an easy to follow plan that gives you a solid ramp that will provide much use for you and those needing access to buildings.

Global Stock Markets - Daily Snapshot by thumbcharts

Even though the stock market gains over time, right now many people are understandably jittery about the way things are going. While there are bargain hunters out there snapping up cheap stocks, and while it is probably best in the long run to leave your retirement account alone, most people are just looking for safe ways to generate any sort of return. Here are two ways you can get a little bit ahead, even while the market is down:

1. Invest in an emergency fund

It's always a good idea to boost your emergency fund. If you have extra money, put to work for you in the safe area of cash investments. The returns are low (high yielding savings accounts are, on average, between 3.5% and 4% and the highest CDs are offering only 5%), but they are better than what the stock market is offering right now. And any growth is a good thing. Put your emergency fund in the higher yielding cash investments that you can find through online banking offers (ING, Citi and Emigrant are all good choices). You will fare much better than the less than 1% offered at traditional brick and mortar banks. Besides, such investments at least offer some hedge from inflation.

2. Pay down high interest debt

This isn't exactly an investment, but it is a good use of money. If you have credit card debt, a car loan or even a mortgage, you are paying interest at a rate that you cannot overcome in the current market or with cash investments. And now is a great time to pay down debt because the Fed rate is at a low 1.5% and could potentially go even lower. This means that variable rate debt, like home equity lines of credit (HELOCs) and most credit cards, are trending lower in terms of interest charges. More of your money will go to reducing your debt, instead of doing nothing beside pay interest. This is a great chance to pay down principal and free yourself from something that severly limits the growth of your net worth.

Even in a down economy, there are ways to use your money wisely and take advantage of the conditions that we are seeing. In fact, it is especially important that you use your money wisely right now. If you prepare for the future by shoring up your emergency fund and paying down debt, you will have less to fear from the future.

What is the actual Currency markets? It's a good prepared method exactly where anyone along with anyone can both invest in as well as advertise their own stocks or even stocks

Tips to invest in the stock market through http://www.hotstockprofits.com/ by bhrat40

Learning how to get started in stock investing doesn't have to be complicated or intimidating. Anyone can learn how to invest in the stock market with some knowledge of how markets work, the types of stocks there are, and the best strategies to use. Armed with this information, you'll be ready to jump in to the world of trading with both feet.
What are Stocks?
Stocks are essentially a share of a company. When you buy stocks, you own a part of the company you are buying from. Companies sell stocks in order to raise money that they need for research, development, and expansion. If the company does well in business and profits, a part of the profits will go to you through annual dividends or through the sale of the stocks that you own.
What is the Stock Market?
The stock market is where stocks are bought and sold. It's not an actual location. In short, the stock market is the business where the trading happens. Another term for the stock market is the stock exchange. The biggest stock exchanges are NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), AMEX (American Stock Exchange), and NASDAQ (National Association of Securities Dealers). On the news, they tend to talk about the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the S&P 500, and the NASDAQ Composite Index. They all are just general market averages to give the public a basic understanding of how well the economy and companies are doing. The average return of the market is about 8 percent a year, which is a good return. However, this is the average return of the entire stock market - your investment might have a higher or lower return depending on how well the company does in a given year.
The Different Kinds of Stock
Generally, stocks are grouped in three different ways: by size, by style, or by sector. When grouping stocks by size, we refer to them as large-cap, mid-cap, or small-cap. Large-cap stocks are sold by large companies with a market cap of over five billion. Mid-cap stocks are sold by mid-sized companies that have a market value of 1 to 5 billion. Small-cap stocks are sold by companies that have a market value of less than 1 billion. Although small-cap stocks give you more potential for profit, they are riskier than large-cap or mid-cap stocks. It all depends on the risks that you're willing to take. Stocks can be grouped by style - growth and value stocks. Growth stocks are those that are expected to rise in value higher and faster than the whole market (higher than 8 percent return). Value stocks are stocks that are at lower prices than they should be, perhaps due to company problems or bad public relations. Some investors like to invest in value stocks in order to "buy low and sell high." Lastly, grouping them by sector means to separate stocks into categories depending on the industry that they're in - e.g., technology and health care.
Investing Strategies
A common low-risk strategy for investing in stocks is to buy low and sell high. You'll see better results if you employ a lot of patience and keep a cool head during dips in the market. There are two ways to do this - by investing in a value stock and holding it on for a long time until prices rise, or investing in an established company and not selling your stocks for a long time. Another important strategy to use when you're learning about investing the stock market is to diversify. None of the different types of stocks will perform the same in a given year. They all go up and down at different times - during one year, some will rise and others will fall. If you invest all of your money in only one type and then they don't do well, you lose a lot of money and it'll be hard to recoup your losses. Instead, if you spread your investments into different types, you might lose some money on certain kinds but you'll still see profits in other kinds.
Why You Should Invest in Stocks
Money that's sitting in the bank is not doing you any favors. Actually, you lose money when you leave your money in a bank account, even a high-interest savings account. Inflation will catch up to your money. With some practice and experience, along with smart decisions such as diversifying and taking the slow approach to buying and selling, soon enough you'll be seeing profits from your investments.
Now that you know more about how to invest in stocks and the strategies that you can use, there's nothing stopping you from trying your hand at buying and selling, soon enough you'll be seeing profits from your investments.

On-line Trading and investing Helps you Make the most of Your current Assets

Very Very Serious Stock Broker by OptionsTrader

Everyone is looking for opportunities to make more money and build multiple income streams to have passive income in this era of economic instability and period of job insecurity due to mass retrenchments.Hence, a lot of work from home schemes for housewives, internet marketing as well as affiliate programs become hot and popular avenues for people to seek passive income.

I believe that one of the potential business that could drive passive income is stock trading. Stock trading has the various characteristic of a flexible home business and could potentially be a lucrative business.

The few characteristic of stock trading :

(a) Flexible Work Time - Well, it is not really flexible literally although you do have much flexibility than most work. If you are a day trader, you still have to trade during the trading hours when the exchanges is open to make your income, but you do have the flexibility of working from home in this internet age where electronic trading is popular.

(b)Low Capital Investment - Most people believe that you need a lot of capital to start a trading business. However, if you delve into the details, you will find that you actually do not need a lot of capitals for trading. Trading is not investment. The primary difference is the time frame. In trading, you want to make the most percentage gain for your capital in the shortest time to limit exposure to market. Investment takes a longer time horizon to achieve the gains and generally, the investor should not be monitoring the equities on a day to day basis. The idea of investment is to let your money make money. For trading, the trader have to make money with money so considerable time and effort is needed to monitor short term trades.

Take an example :

A trader with capital of $10,000 trades to gain monthly 10% on his capital by making multiple short term trades in a month. In 12 months, the trader will have more than double his original capital.( of course, the trader must have some skill levels to maintain consistent profits.)

An investor may look at gaining 10-20% by investing $10,000 in a quality stock for 12 months and reap the returns. The investor don need to actively enter the market for profits.

(c)Low Entry Barrier - The trader need to pick up the skills of trading as well as a small capital for trading. There are many programs in the market that teach trading. The person just need to have the interest and willingness to invest time to learn trading to gain consistent and moderate returns.

Stock trading can further be divided into short, mid and long term. All three time frame require different strategy and skill levels to achieve income as well as wealth.

Stock Trading as a business is definitely not a get rich quick scheme. The person need to build up the proper skills to trade over time to deliver consistent income. But the most important of all is the right mindset to manage emotions during trading as well as the skills of risk management.
I believe that stock trading can definitely be part of a wealth strategy to deliver a stream of passive income.

Allatoona Lake is only 30 miles from Atlanta, offering a quiet peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The lake draws over 13 million visitors every year in the form of campers, hunters, fishermen, swimmers and hikers. There are never a lack of jet skis, pontoon boats, house boats, and speedboats that dot the lake from sunrise to each gorgeous sunset on the lake. Allatoona Lake is the oldest multipurpose project from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' South Atlantic Division. The dam was completed and operable in January 1950 and designed at a cost of $31.5 million. It is located on the Etowah River, one of the tributaries of the Coosa River.
